Pauline Whitesinger Video

Pauline Whitesinger was a DinĂ© (Navajo) Elder from Big Mountain, Navajo Nation.  She was a traditional matriarch and grassroots leader of the Hopi/Navajo Joint-use Area relocation resistance effort. Whitesinger and her family were among the last DinĂ© to resist efforts by the federal government to relocate from their remote ancestral lands.

Pauline provided a keynote address to the Flathead Ancient Voices - Contemporary Contexts Forum in 2007 via a video with interpretation on-site by her nephew, Danny Blackgoat. The video is available for $12.50 (shipping and handling included). You can order with a credit/debit card below or call 406-580-4533.
